The British Red Cross is the largest voluntary humanitarian organisation in the world that helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.  We help people recover and move on with their lives.

The British Red Cross promotes humanitarian values, and provides emergency help to people in crisis in the UK and overseas. Within the UK, the British Red Cross operates through 34,000 volunteers and 2,500 staff. We enable vulnerable people at home and overseas to prepare for and respond to emergencies in their own communities.

Internships with the British Red Cross are a great way for you to gain experience and help vulnerable people around the world.

Interns at the British Red Cross are highly valued for the skills and energy they bring to our work.  We hope to provide our interns with an insight into the daily internal workings of the world�s largest humanitarian organisation and the successful candidate will have access to relevant in-house training and development opportunities during the course of their placement. 

All internship positions are voluntary, but lunch and travel expenses are covered.
